Image result for achieve 3000Our 2nd-6th grade students have the opportunity to read online a variety topics related to the world around them. Upon reading a topic of interest students will have the opportunity to practice their technology enhanced tools on the computer and share their understanding of the text through a series of comprehension questions. The best part about the program is that it is targeted to each individual student’s reading level.  This is a great tool for independent reading!

This year we are supporting all our students will access to the online math tool of Related imagei-Ready Math.  Your child’s classroom teacher is able to provide assignments and practice to meet each student’s individual needs.  The program is a Common Core Standards aligned program that is presented in an online format. Students can build their skills in mathematics that is tailored to their individual needs. As a parent, you can review student progress by logging into your child’s account under “My Progress.”

Image result for caasppDo you want to learn more about the new nation-wide end of year testing?  There are current practice tests for math and English Language Arts available for students, teachers, and parents.  This is a great tool to review with your child and practice reading, highlighting, and writing in an online format.  It is also a wonderful opportunity to learn about 3rd-6th grade end of year expectations.
